How to choose Tunics for Different Body Types

Each tunic type is suited for a certain body shape. Here's a simple check-list to choose the perfect tunic top that flatters your figure:

Pear-Shaped Figure:

A petite upper body accentuated with a well-proportioned bottom. A-line tunics will always look good on pear-shaped gals. Soft V neckline must be chosen to draw attention on the upper side of the body. Always make sure that the shoulders are properly fitted.

Women with a shorter torso:

Team waist-length tunics with dark coloured straight-fit trousers or jeans. Boot leg trousers work best with printed tunics made of flowy fabrics.

Accessories:

A simple side braid or a pony tail will be the perfect hairstyle. Wear a pair of dangling hoops and loads of charm bracelets. If you are wearing a simple, pastel shade tunic, pick a colorful scarf and a high belt to add a bit of Úlan.

Shoes:

Trendy high-heeled platform sandals will make you look gorgeous.

Women with a tall frame:

Tunic dresses would be apt for tall gals. For causal outings, weekend trips or dinner parties, one can wear a tunic dress reaching till the knees or the mid thigh.

Accessories:

If it's a plain tunic, grab chunky signature jewellery and a big bag for that chic Boho look. For printed and loud tunics, pair of chandelier earnings teamed with a cocktail finger rings should do the trick.

Apple-Shaped Figure:

A top heavy body beautifully proportioned with a slimmer bottom. Women of any particular height can simply go for hip-length or longer tunic shirts matched with bright tights or leggings. Avoid short tunic tops. Pull on a long or short jacket over your top for extra layering.

Shoes:

For the tall beauties, a pair of Ballerina pumps would perfectly complement the rest of the outfit. For the petite women, calf-length boots would be perfect.

Accessories:

A knotted scarf stylishly put around the neck and a nice wide belt will simply look great. Either wear a pair of big dangling earrings or keep your ears, neck and hands completely bare. A side bun decorated with pretty clips or a chic high ponytail will definitely turn plenty of heads.

Ruler-Shaped Figure:

Hips, bust, and waist area are of the same circumference. It is almost similar to the hourglass figure, but less curvy. Women of all ages and frames, can safely opt for slightly shorter tunics tucked inside knee-length skirts. Using a belt at the waist would conceal possible fabric bunching.

Shoes:

Flat shoes with a tassel on the front, calf or knee-length boots or cute flip-flops would really work well for this mix-n-match look.

Accessories:

A brightly hued headscarf matched with a long beaded necklace, a pair of hoops, several funky bracelets, and a pair of sunglasses can help you look effortlessly stylish. If it's unbearably cold, wear a cute woolen beanie.

Hourglass-Shaped Figure:

Heavy top and bottom body perfected with a small waist. Look for a tailored cut tunic with a V neckline that skims over the curves without hiding them. Longer tunic tops with an asymmetrical hemline are a perfect choice for party wear.

Shoes:

High-heeled peeptoe shoes will bring instant glamour and complement the sexy body shape. Moreover, high heels will create an illusion of elongated legs and slimmer hips.

Accessories:

Wear a dark colored belt wrapped around the narrowest part of the waist. You just can't go wrong with this pair of stud earrings and a large strap gold metallic watch.

Try to avoid pairing tunics with wide-leg jeans .It's best to balance them out with slim-cut pants or leggings. Avoid wearing tunics with skirts. If your tunic makes you feel shapeless, wear a belt or a large necklace
